about

The seventh album from Salon De La Guerre mixes writer Eric Rasmussen's no wave rock guitar and pop numbers with brave new expeditions into funk and jazz.

Salon de la Guerre, the musical project of New York writer and filmmaker Eric Randolph Rasmussen, returns with 12 new tracks of guitar rock, nervy pop and experiments that crack open between the genres. In his latest effort, Salon de la Guerre's seventh release, Rasmussen branches out into jazz and funk territory, embroidering his New York no-wave guitar rock obsessions with a couple of speedy saxophone solos.

The indie site "No More Division" says of "Clam Fake," "It seems as if de la Guerre lets loose and embraced experimentation and the payoff is immense."
